I couldn't agree with you more. Yeah, I don't have any Filly fans around me regularly, but seeing those classless pricks at the 1969 celebration, yelling stupid ish inbetween every single pitch, was just too much for me to deal with for just 1 game. I can't imagine my fellow fans having to deal with that for 19 games total. Really... Ph 'em.

Personally, I've just not watched the playoffs at all. That, and the Rangers starting 7-1-0, helps a lot.

It strikes me that, based on reading comment after comment on this topic over at AA, people would rather the team without fans in close proximity to them win (if that team must win). Thus, folks living near Philly can't fathom dealing with those fans if that team wins again, and folks in New York can't fathom dealing with those fans if that team wins again. I get all that, to be honest, because I know I never deal with any Philly fans where I live, although I do encounter numerous Yankee fans and those people will be even more insufferable if that team wins this year.

But, hey, like I said I'm just sitting this one out. Maybe I'll root for the ground to open or something.
