No worries; I thought about that after I submitted the comment. I'm used to the more liberal language policy while commenting at AA, but I imagine I can adjust accordingly.

Sorry to have had to edit the profanity out of your post before approving it. Though you and krumbledkookie are both simply quoting me, the f word is one of several that are blocked in comments on this site, even though I use it so often in daily life.

I find myself stopping for chicken strips at KFC or Popeyes, or some delicious Taco Bell action usually about once a week. As far as I'm concerned, there's no shame in it because: a) it tastes good; and b) it's cheap and I'm pretty broke right now.

I wholeheartedly agree with your "Hey, guy: F@#$ you" perspective. Two chicken burritos and an order of nachos for $2.99 is full of win.

For what it worth, I ope the efforts of NY state concerning unhealthy food do not go nationwide. I live in and spend the majority of my time in NJ, where they do not list the calories of every food item, and I like it that way.

When I go to a fast food restaurant, I know what I am eating, and I don't care. I was in NY last weekend and stopped in dunkin donuts and was faced with the harsh reality that the chocolate chip muffin that I so enjoy, has almost 800 calories. I still ate the muffin, but I really did not need to be reminded of the calories count.

I'm so glad you have this blog. You're friggin hysterical.

I especially like the "Hey, guy: F@#$ you." part of your piece on Taco Bell. I nearly spit my tea all over the laptop.
